John Barber, MD

Executive Director

John is a physician with more than 15 years of global health experience focused on healthcare delivery, product commercialization, community health worker programming, and NGO operations management. Supporting the organizational infrastructure to execute our initial trial, John now leads Lesu’s efforts to build the systems and partnerships to scale insecticide-treated fabrics globally.

Ross Boyce, MD, MSc

Director of Research

Ross is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with more than 13 years of global health experience focused on malaria and other vector-borne diseases. Ross’s innovative research on insecticide-treated baby wraps – inspired by his own experience in the US military – laid the foundation for Lesu and he continues to lead our global research efforts to advance this new intervention.
